How do I check out a book?
Just bring the book and your current school ID card to the circulation desk.
How long can I keep a library book?
All books are checked out for a period of 2 weeks. Reference books and magazines are for library use only.
How many books can I check out a time?
Students who have a current Fulton Student ID card may have up to three books checked out of the library at any time.
What if I forgot my ID? Can I still check out a book?
Students who do not have an ID card may check out only one book with the permission of the library media teacher.
Can a friend check out my book for me?
No. Your friend can not check out a book for you. Checking out a book for another person makes you responsible for that book, even if they lose it.
What if I turned in the book late? How much is the fine?
Students will be fined 10 cents per instructional day that a book or other library material is overdue. The maximum overdue a student can receive is $5.00
What if I lost the book?
Students are required to pay for lost or damaged books. You will not be able to check any other materials out of the library until all debts/fines are cleared.
Can I use the computers?
Yes, you can. The internet is available in the library to those students who have a current school ID card. The internet is to be used for class reports and projects only.
Can I use a printer in the library? Do I have to pay for it?
Yes, you can use a printer any time. The charge is $.10 per black and white copy (1st page is free), color copy is $.25.
When does a student need a library pass?
The student needs a library pass when she or he comes to the library during class time.
Are there any library rules?
No food or drinks.
